Jr. Kindergarten
At YKCS Eagles Jr. Kindergarten we have a play-based program that is structured with the children's interests in mind. We have two years featuring different curricula. We incorporate alphabet recognition and sounds, early numeracy, name practice, fine and gross motor skills, outdoor play, and Bible themes.
In our Jr. Kindergarten program, we have two early childhood educators. Justine Kerr leads the program and Lana Wright assists. They have been a team since 2020 and aim to help your child succeed in all aspects of growth and development in those younger years.
More Information:
- Jr. Kindergarten runs from 8:45 am to 11:15 am on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
- Snack is not provided, please bring a healthy snack from home.
- All children are expected to use the washroom independently.
- The only supplies you need are indoor shoes and a change of clothes to be left in the cubby
just in case.
- OT and SLP are provided through the LEAP Center.
