YKCS’s Elementary grades offer a Christ-centered discipleship program that invests in the hearts, souls, and minds of students.  Our vision is to help families by equipping and discipling children for Christ.  Christian values are behind our entire program, and we hope that students grow in their faith and in their knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Bible program combines Biblical truth with real-life application and service opportunities.  Our Bible memory program is a quality initiative that allows every student to hide God’s Word in their hearts.  At YKCS, we spend time every day teaching the Bible and in prayer.  Our chapel services are held once a week and parents also enjoy attending.

We believe every child is a special gift from God.  Our certified teachers and staff work to maximize the potential found in each child.  To do that, we provide a safe and caring environment, and we love building relationships with each child.  We are committed to developing the academic potential of each student in literacy and numeracy - teaching the Alberta curriculum.  We want students to know Jesus, and have a Christian worldview that equips them for everyday situations.
